The MST-ST01 safety guard protects the operator from direct contact with the alternatively moving parts of the vertical slide and from flying chips, shavings and coolant splashes. Thanks to its reversibility, it can be installed on either the right or left side of the machine base, with the high or low support group. Its fully transparent monolithic shield is impact-resistant and oil-resistant, offering excellent visibility of the work area. A double safety micro-switch and safety interlock system automatically disables the machine when the guard is open or improperly positioned.
