Limited Warranty Policy

Prismont Limited Warranty

All products manufactured by Prismont are offered with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 120 days from the date of shipment.

For any product manufactured by a manufacturer other than Prismont, Prismont will provide the customer with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Claim During Extended Holidays

During holidays and closing times, no warranty claim will be processed.

Inspection of Defective Products

Parts found to be defective by Prismont during the warranty period will be replaced or repaired at Prismont’s sole discretion. Any part or product that is susceptible to a return and / or warranty claim is subject to an inspection and an evaluation from our department of quality control which will confirm or will counter that said product was used in a context of normal use.

Shipping Costs

All freight and shipping charges related to the replacement or repair of products shipped to Prismont must be paid in advance (prepaid) by the Customer.

Limits of the Prismont Warranty

The warranty will not cover damage to the equipment nor faulty operation resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, incorrect maintenance or inadequate maintenance of the product. The warranty will not cover products whose installations are not in accordance with the installation instructions and whose use has been made under abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions.

Parts not covered by this warranty are normal wear and consumable parts such as (but not limited to) abrasive belts, greases and lubricants, batteries, lamps and blades Prismont ne sera pas tenu responsable des mauvais branchements, des mauvaises utilisations et installations et d’une maintenance incorrecte des produits Prismont. Prismont will not be held responsible for improper connections, use, installation or maintenance of Prismont products. Products found by Prismont to be misused, abused or neglected are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty, express or implied, provided by Prismont and is in lieu of all other warranties of any nature whatsoever, contractual, legal, statutory or other and whether for merchantability, quality, fitness or otherwise.

Prismont’s warranties are void if repairs or modifications of the products are made by anyone who was not authorized by Prismont for this very purpose.

If Customer grants to an end user of the products (or any other customer of Customer) any warranty that is greater in scope or time than the warranty and claims period stated herein, Prismont shall not be liable beyond the scope of the limited warranty, the claim period, the damages and the remedies provided for under this Section.

Customer's Remedy

Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and Prismont only obligation shall be, as Prismont in its sole and exclusive judgment shall determine, the replacement of the nonconforming products, or an adjustment to the purchase price for the nonconforming products or the repair of the nonconforming products.

Send Us an Email

Send us your full name, company, address, phone number, email, a copy of the product invoice, a photo and the SKU code of the product as well as a description of the problem encountered at service@prismont.com.

Warranty Claim Analysis

We will analyze your request and if the warranty is applicable, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code and detailed instructions for you to return the product.

Shipping the Products

Follow the instructions received. All freight charges related to the replacement or repair of products shipped to Prismont must be pre-paid and charged by the Customer.
