Description
Description of the Limit Switch with Top Push Rod Plunger
The MST-MP102 is a prewired metal limit switch equipped with a top push-rod plunger and 1NO+1NC slow-break contacts, designed for fast and accurate position detection on moving machine parts. Its repeatable snap-action mechanism ensures consistent performance, while the IP67 protection rating makes it suitable for harsh industrial environments exposed to dust, humidity or splashing liquids.
The factory-wired 2 m cable significantly simplifies installation and reduces wiring time. The switch is cULus certified, features Class I insulation, and uses a robust aluminum-zinc alloy housing. The body cover is hinged at the bottom and fully removable, giving quick access for wiring and maintenance.
Fully compliant with EN 50047 dimensional standards, the MST-MP102 can easily replace standard limit switches or be integrated into new equipment. Its modular, adjustable and interchangeable operating heads, combined with a bayonet-style locking mechanism, allow the operating head to be removed and repositioned in the required configuration without tools—offering excellent mounting flexibility for a wide range of applications.
Our limit switches are engineered to meet key industrial requirements: quick installation, easy wiring, simple setup, modularity, sturdiness and long-term reliability. Removable auxiliary contact blocks further improve wiring convenience, making it easier and faster to detect the position of moving parts and safely commission machinery.

Detailed Functional Features
All metal self-contained interchangeable heads
The operating heads are extremely robust metal components. They can be mounted on both metal and plastic bodies and support all cable-entry configurations. This modularity allows quick adaptation and flexible stock management.
Maximum installation speed
The bayonet locking mechanism enables rapid positioning or replacement of the operating head without special tools—minimizing downtime during maintenance.
45° axial rotation of operating head
All heads offer 45° axial rotation, providing multiple orientation options to improve alignment and control.
360° level adjustment
The operating head can be fully adjusted in 360°, in 15° increments. This wide adjustment range allows precise actuation angle optimization and ensures reliable detection.
Removable auxiliary contacts
The switch body can accommodate various auxiliary contact blocks, allowing the unit to be configured for specific signaling or diagnostic functions.
Maximum cabling ease
The complete removal of the body cover and auxiliary contact blocks—combined with open terminal screws—greatly simplifies wiring, reduces installation time and facilitates maintenance or reconfiguration.
