Hydraulic Press Mesh Curtain’s Description

An object ejected from a hydraulic press can become a deadly projectile and cause serious injury. Our Steel Mesh Ejection Curtains will help stop dangerous flying debris and allow it to fall safely to the ground. Installing a steel mesh ejection curtain allows easy access to machines while providing a lower cost method of meeting hydraulic press guarding standards.

Because the mesh is black, the operator’s eyes can easily focus on the point of operation. The curtains are lightweight, easy to install, maintenance free, and allow natural light visibility. The new multi-width curtain rod is able to fit press widths 60,96 cm (24″) to – 162,56 cm (64″).

Each Steel Mesh Ejection Curtain guards one side of the press. Therefore, 2 mesh curtain may be necessary if access to the back of the hydraulic press isn’t controlled or restricted using a curtain, safety guard or a wall.

How to Choose the Right Mesh Curtain Length

Our mesh murtains are available in varied lengths and widths. In order to choose the appropriate curtain size for your machine, you will need to measure the width of your hydraulic press (A on image below) as well as the its height (B on image below) from press top to the floor. Then, refer to this table to choose the correct safety guard. If your Press Width falls between two size options, choose the next larger size. Choose the height nearest to your Press Height.
