These felt polishing belts are specifically designed for use with the MST-SBH and MST-SBH(A) lathe sanding belt holders as well as the MST-SBH(AIR-D) Air-Driven Sanding Belt Holder for Lathes. Sold in boxes of 10 units, they provide the ideal alternative to abrasive belts for finishing and polishing operations. Available in multiple dimensions, they are particularly recommended for use with an abrasive cream to achieve a smooth and brilliant surface.

The MST-SBHC-F felt belts are high-quality consumables, specially designed to replace or complement the abrasive belts used with tools in the MST-SBH product line. With their dense felt composition, they are ideal for finishing and polishing operations, delivering a uniform shine on cylindrical parts.

MST-SBH(A) – Finishing with a Felt Belt
The felt belt allows finishing and polishing operations to be performed directly on the rotating workpiece.

MST-SBHC-F felt belts are designed for use with MST-SBH tools of the corresponding size. They are compatible with manual MST-SBH tools, MST-SBH(A) models with belt clutch control, as well as the air-driven MST-SBH(AIR-D).

Important : Always select belts that match the size of your tool. Belts measuring 1" × 30" must not be used with a 2.0 tool, and vice versa.
The use of an abrasive compound is particularly recommended with MST-SBHC-F felt belts for finishing and polishing operations. Combined with the belt’s dense felt construction, it helps achieve a smooth, shiny and uniform surface.
For operations requiring an abrasive, MST-SBHC sanding belts are available in a range of grits, from fine and medium Scotch-Brite to 80–600 grit, to meet various sanding and finishing needs.
